President of GTCP meets Ambassador of Angola in UAE
The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed Bin Mohamed AlJarwan, has met the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola, H.E. Albino Malungo to the United Arab Emirates, at his home to discuss more ways of cooperation and joint work to disseminate the culture of tolerance and peace with Angola.
His Excellency Ambassador Malungo praised the role of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in uniting international efforts to support disseminating the values of tolerance and peace throughout the world. In addition, He affirmed his country’s support for the council’s orientations and goals in spreading the values of tolerance and peace, noting that Angola is working hard to promote a culture of tolerance and peace with the aim of overcoming the obstacles of the past and continuing the process of development and prosperity. Mr. Malungo affirmed that he would work to set a date for inviting the delegation of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace headed by AlJarwan to visit Angola and meet with H.E. the Angolan President and Speaker of Parliament, signing a Memorandum of Understanding and joint work between the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, and the Angolan Parliament.
For his part, AlJarwan welcomed cooperation with the Republic of Angola, emphasizing the importance of the relationship with Angola, as they have its regional and international stature, praising the progress made by Angola in the field of tolerance, peace and reconciliation after what it witnessed in the past of civil wars and conflicts.
