Three days of fashion shows featuring up and coming designers, sustainable forums and mastermind panels, a launch party, a VIP luncheon, a dinner gala and awards ceremony, and an after party – all hosted in the heart of the UAE.
Endorsed by the Middle East Fashion Council (MEFC), the MEFW aims to develop emerging designers in the Middle East, helping to establish and promote them on a global stage, as well as bringing international brands to the region.

MEFW’s Co-Founder and President, Mr. Antonio Rubel, has been at the heart of the fashion industry in the Middle East for the last 7 years. As the patron of 9 fashion weeks – Dubai, Beirut Fashion Week, Riyad Fashion Week, and Al Arabia Fashion Days – his vast knowledge and expertise in fashion event production spurred the inauguration of the Middle East Fashion Week. Together, with the governance of the Middle East Fashion Council (MEFC) – the world’s first fashion council with sustainability as its core value – President Antonio Rubel will leverage his vast experience in running over 12 seasons of fashion events to elevate the MEFW as the region’s internationally recognized fashion week.

The Middle East Fashion Shows will be hosted at the Atlantis Palm Resort and Hotel, an iconic destination providing extraordinary experiences for its exclusive guests. In association with the Middle East Fashion Council, the MEFW will be organized by AFW Events Management and will be hosted at the splendid hospitality venues within the hotel. The first edition of Middle East Fashion Week is hosted in Dubai for 6 exciting days showcasing seasonal collections from international and up-and-coming designers.
SUSTAINABLE FASHION FORUM | 14th-16th May
A three day forum and mastermind panel on sustainable fashion hosted by the Middle East Fashion Council and facilitated by Diamond Developers and The Sustainable City. The 3 days will concentrate on the 9th, 12th and 17th SDGs set by the United Nations.

Patrizia Marin is journalist and chairman of Marco Polo Experience, a leading agency specialising in strategic communications, public affairs, marketing and media relations, with twenty years of experience in business internationalisation strategies, communication campaigns, media relations, mapping of the decision makers and community of interests’ relations.
Patrizia has been advisor to the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers for Communication, Publishing and Information. As regards the logistics and infrastructure sectors, she has been Head of Communications for the Venice Port Authority; Media Relations Consultant for Aeroporti di Roma; International pr advisor for Atlantia while Vice-President at FBC.
Patrizia is Contract Professor in Leadership and International Relations at the IULM University of Milan and has a degree in Law and International Political Science.
