Made in Italy allo “Speciality Food Festival” Dubai

made-in-italy-pitturaIl top della gastronomia italiana, il Made in Italy che tanto successo riscuote nel mondo nonostante il nodo delle contraffazioni, sbarca negli Emirati Arabi Uniti.

In occasione dello “Speciality Food Festival”, che si tiene da domenica sino all’11 novembre a Dubai, importante appuntamento internazionale per gli operatori del settore agroalimentare, l’ICE ha organizzato per le aziende italiane uno spazio con 6 postazioni.

L’iniziativa si inserisce nell’attività promozionale 2014 la quale prevede la realizzazione di una promozione dedicata al settore agroalimentare italiano nei Paesi del Golfo, in particolare negli Emirati Arabi Uniti, visto il trend positivo di questo mercato.

Gli Emirati Arabi Uniti importano circa il 90% dei prodotti alimentari, degli alimenti finiti e degli ingredienti e rappresentano, dunque, un Paese particolarmente interessante per le imprese italiane del settore, che hanno il vantaggio di poter offrire prodotti di cui il mercato locale riconosce e apprezza l’alto livello qualitativo.

Nel Paese la domanda di importazioni è in continua crescita: secondo le stime dell’Economist Intelligence Unit, le importazioni degli E.A.U. nel settore food saliranno a 5.5 miliardi di dollari nel 2015, per poi raggiungere gli 8.4 miliardi entro il 2020. Le esportazioni italiane negli Emirati, i dati relativi alla somma dei prodotti alimentari, delle bevande e dei prodotti dell’ agricoltura, pesca e silvicoltura sono cresciuti del 47,5% dal 2011 al 2012, passando da 135 milioni di euro ai 199 milioni di euro.

Trend positivo anche nel 2013: nei primi 11 mesi dell’anno le esportazioni italiane di settore sono cresciute del 20,9% rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2012.
