The doors to the most anticipated edition of the Dubai Airshow is now open.
Packed with everything you would expect to see at a global airshow and more, this year’s edition features 20+ country pavilions along with a stunning aircraft display of over 160 commercial, military, and private jets including the latest Boeing 777x, Bombardier’s Global 7500 and many more.
Dubai Airshow 2021 opened on a high note on Sunday with the Ruler of the emirate declaring that Dubai is back.
“Dubai is back again, and the global aviation sector is returning through Dubai and the UAE. The world gathers with us in the Emirates to talk about its economy, future and culture. Welcome everybody,” tweeted His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as deals worth more than Dh137 billion were signed on the first day of the airshow.
Dubai Airshow is set to welcome more than 85,000 visitors during the five-day event as it bringing the aviation, aerospace, space and defence industries together for what promises to be the most extraordinary experience in the history of air shows.
The 17th edition, is hosting civil and military delegations from more than 140 countries and the event will feature 20 country pavilions, including new additions from the Czech Republic, Belgium, Brazil, Israel, and Slovakia.
The airshow, which will run until Thursday, will feature world-class products, solutions, technologies, and services from market leaders and disruptors, enhanced networking opportunities and state-of-art aircraft display along with major industry announcements.
